George Crowell, a Canadian friend and colleague in the Society of Christian Ethics, alerted me to the petition. When I teach about peace, I emphasize the role of truth telling in moving toward peace and reconciliation. I sign this as a witness to a collective journey toward truth and a good-faith attempt to build a stronger foundation on which to build right relationships.
